All About James Morris

Introduction

My game is SERPs and Web Dev. I read rankings and code like Gamers play RPGs. I do a little bit of everything online: SysAdmin, Design, Code, SEO & SMO. I love all things web.

I have a degree in Network Administration and while I was in college I picked up Web Development as a hobby so I could connect with like-minded individuals around the world. As I got involved in Open Source Software, I became smitten by the Web Dev bug. Eventually, I ended up being well known in the Open Source Content Management System world and made the transition to full-time.

Over the years I’ve taken my knowledge of Systems Administration and Web Development and ported that over to the arena of Search Engine Optimization and Social Media Marketing. You might be surprised to learn how much of an interplay there is between these domains.

In addition to the above interests, I’m also an amateur author. I write short fiction and poetry about faith, family, and this crazy adventure we call life.

I love meeting new people and sharing knowledge. Join me as I frolic on the playground that is the Internet and experience all that this wonderful world has to offer.
